You could say, it's my equivalent to The Full Monty! Or in other words, you could call it: The Half Monty!

During 1998, I set up a Red Dwarf Fanzine, which was known, as The Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine! And, my original aim, was, to publish short Science Fiction stories, and they could be Red Dwarf related, Doctor Who related, Star Trek (all Star Trek series!) and the X Files! I was also interested, in receiving horror stories, and anything of a comedic nature, or even, original fiction, for my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine! For my very first, and last edition of my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, I sorted out a Kubla Khan poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, for a bit of variation! But my original aim, where publishing my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, was not to feature, any reviews of Red Dwarf, whatsoever! Even though, I had insisted, on having an Editorial, for my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, which would, have featured, some very brief news, about Red Dwarf, and general updates, where the work of the cast, was concerned, which would have definitely been, outside Red Dwarf itself, naturally! The Editorial, for my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, also included, some very brief information, about myself, of course, which also included, my Unofficial Xanadu Red Dwarf Website address, naturally! And, my Editorial, for my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, basically informed, any possible readers, what my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, was all about, at the time, of course! And, my Editorial, for my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, also included the listings, of all, of the Red Dwarf Fan Clubs, the various Red Dwarf Fanzines, the various Red Dwarf Websites, and all, of the various, Red Dwarf organizations, that were about, at the time! And, I also had a Contents section, in my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, naturally!

Unfortunately however, I only managed, to sell one copy of my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, during the Winter of 1998! But I was fortunate enough, to receive my first, and only piece of Red Dwarf, Fan Fiction, called: 'Pickled', by Rob Burriss (who had, some of his Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and various reviews, published, courtesy, of The Inquisitor Red Dwarf Fanzine, in Northern Ireland, over the past couple of years!), and the story concept, was by Pete Doyce (A very good friend of Rob Burriss’s, incidentally!). Incidentally, it was Rob Burriss who purchased, my one and only copy of my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, in the first place! Incidentally, 'Pickled', touched on Lister and Rimmer's life, before Red Dwarf, which I found, to be very interesting indeed! And, touching, on the characters of Red Dwarf’s lives, before they ended up, being stuck together, on the Dwarf, for the rest of eternity, is not, a very common factor, where some of the Red Dwarf Fan Fiction contributors, are concerned! And, I have still got, my Editorial of my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, available, on file, in Microsoft Word format! And, once again, I utterly refuse to give up hope, where publishing more copies, of my Xanadu Red Dwarf Fan Fiction and General Fan/Fiction Fanzine, are concerned, when it actually comes down to it, at the end of the day! And therefore, we will just have to wait and see, just exactly, what happens, where that is concerned, because when it comes down to it, at the end of the day, that is all, that you can do, isn't it?!

Rob Burriss did set up, his very own Red Dwarf Fanzine, which was called: "The Pickle Jar", during the year 2000, I think! Unfortunately however, for various reasons: “The Pickle Jar”, never took off, as a Fanzine, even though, Rob Burriss’s Website: The Pickle Jar, carried on, as a Website, for a few years, after he had left University, for a career, in the Royal Navy. There will be more information, about that, on this Website, at a later date!

Anyway, without any further delay, here is the link for Rob Burriss's and Pete Doyce's Red Dwarf Fan Fiction:

Pickled by Rob Burriss

I now have a Red Dwarf image available, at long last! This image is a particular favourite of mine and my husband Paul's, because we love to see Lister doing his Paint Duty or Punishment Detail, or even PD! Well whatever, PD stands for, the image is now available on:

Please feel free to browse my Astronomy Website. You too, will find out what a Red Dwarf, really is, at:

AWOOGA AWOOGA! THIS SECTION IS DEDICATED TO A LISTING OF IMPORTANT RED DWARF CONTACTS!

As, The Inquisitor Red Dwarf Fanzine (which had, also been, known, as: N.I.R.D.A. - The Northern Ireland Red Dwarf Association), had been so kind, to advertise my continual Red Dwarf story for me, which so far, has only had six enquiries, but unfortunately, no-one bought it, in the end! They had also been very kind to publish my Red Dwarf VII Review, my Captain Butler Review, and they have also published, some astronomical items from our Encarta 95 CD, for their: Junior Encyclopedia of Space Section.

Unfortunately due to a loss in sales, The Inquisitor Red Dwarf Fanzine, ceased publication, after the Christmas 1998 edition, which was a great loss to the Fans of Red Dwarf, who had subscribed, or had contributed, to the Former: The Inquisitor Fanzine, over the years, and I will, in particular, miss all the reviews, on the cult and Science Fiction series, that the Inquisitor featured, and I did feel, that this was what made The Inquisitor unique, because of its additional, non Red Dwarf related content. However, Daryl Ball, has since informed me, that The Inquisitor will carry on, as a Website, so for all of those Inquisitor Subscribers, who are online, the Inquisitor, is now available, as a Website! Please refer to my Unofficial Xanadu Red Dwarf Links Website, for more information, where that is concerned!

Thank you

Marie Birch

However, for the time being, if it is of any help to The Inquisitor team, I have set up a piece that Daryl wrote, about the day he spent with the cast of Red Dwarf on the 'Can't Smeg, Can't Cook' set, and ‘Red Dwarf Universe (as opposed to University!!) Challenge’. I originally downloaded this review in write format, but it has since been converted into html format. So, for anyone, who is interested in this particular review, the Web link is:

AWOOGA AWOOGA! THIS SECTION IS DEDICATED TO RED DWARF RELATED REVIEWS!

RED DWARF DIMENSION JUMP CONVENTION REVIEWS

A task, that I have been meaning, to get around, to lately, is to set up, some Web Links, for my in-depth: Red Dwarf Dimension Jump 1995 Convention Review, which I had finally completed, last year! And, my in-depth: Red Dwarf Dimension Jump 1997 Convention 1997 Review, is now up, at long last! And, if you would like, to take a look, at my in-depth: Red Dwarf Dimension Jump 1997 Convention Review, or even download it, then please go to:

A Review of Timeslides: Episode V: Red Dwarf V: Episode III by Marie Birch

To co-incide, with the release of the Red Dwarf VII, and the Red Dwarf VIII DVD’s, during November 2005 and March 2006, I have made, my two Red Dwarf VII Reviews, that I originally wrote (My very first Red Dwarf VII Review, was co-written, by my friend, Kevin Blake), during 1997, are now available, for browsing and downloading, at long last! For more details, about the origins, of these two Red Dwarf VII Reviews, in question, which are available, on the Web page, for these two Red Dwarf VII Reviews, in question! And, for anyone, who may be, interested, in my two Red Dwarf VII Reviews, in general, then please go to:

Reviews of Red Dwarf VII by Marie Birch and Kevin Blake

And now, what we have all been waiting for! here is my explanation of how the time drive, was capable of getting the Boyz back to Earth, in Tikka To Ride, when it was specifically stated, in Out Of Time, that the time drive, was only capable of taking the Boyz back in time, in deep space, back to the Fifteenth century?!

Well here is my Web link, for the explanation, so see how you go, where that is concerned, anyhow!

The Explanation For The Time Drive, Transporting The Red Dwarf Posse, Back To Earth, in Tikka To Ride: Episode I: Red Dwarf VII by Marie Birch

I have also reviewed some extended material from Red Dwarf itself, but I will go into that in a bit more detail, when I am certain, that the Web link has been set up properly. So please go to:

We were lucky enough, to have the rare privilege of acquiring some tickets to see Red Dwarf VIII recorded live, at Shepperton Studios on the 4th of December 1998! It is an indepth review of just exactly what goes on, when Red Dwarf is filmed live to a studio audience, and for anyone who would like a further insight, into Red Dwarf VIII, the Web link is:

A Review of Red Dwarf VIII: Filmed Live! at Shepperton Studios by Marie Birch

But since then, I am now in the process of reviewing Red Dwarf VIII itself. At the moment, the Review is incomplete, but the Web link, is there merely to test the Web link:

AA Review of Red Dwarf VIII: Back in The Red: Part I to Part III by Marie Birch

Unfortunately however, as the Red Dwarf VIII Review, is going to take me a considerably long time to finish, and I have had to split it up into three parts, and at the moment, there is only a snippet from Pete I, contained in it. And until I can get round to sorting it out at a later date, and again, the link is only being set up merely for test purposes, but for anybody who is interested, the Web link is at:

A Review of Red Dwarf VIII: Part IV to Part VIII by Marie Birch
