OUR FORMER CAT: JESS’S INFORMATION WEBSITE
Our Former Cat: Jess had been, an adorable little
black and white Cat, who had been with us, since Saturday the 23rd of October
1999, when she had been, about a year old.
Despite her youth, Jess had already produced, two
Litters of Kittens. Her Foster Parents had homed all, but two, of the last
Litter of her Kittens: Lois, Louise
(A multi-coloured kitten), and Little Lamb (Deceased), when we had first seen her. And I had taken, some photographs, of her
Kittens, when we had come, to collect her, from her Foster Parents, on Saturday
the 23rd of October 1999.
Throughout her life, Jess had had, several
operations, to de-scale her teeth (which we had eventually, worked out, had
probably, been caused by Cat Flu, when she had been, a Kitten), which she had
soon recovered from.
And Jess, had also, had to get used to, the white
stuff, falling from the sky, during the English Winter (which we had a lot of
that year!).
And during 2001, Jess had improved her hunting
skills, quite considerably, as well, as coming into her own, as a Mischievous
and a Playful Companion, for us both.
Unfortunately however, our adorable little black
and white Cat: Jess, had passed away peacefully, in our garden, on Thursday the
29th of September 2016, at the grand age, of seventeen. Jess would have been,
eighteen years of age, on Saturday the 26th of November 2016. Jess had been
born, on Thursday the 26th of November 1998.

Information Yahoo Groups Message Board, had originally, been set up, from Sunday the
31st of July 2011, up until, Saturday the 2nd of November 2019.
And, I will be, sorting out, things, on Facebook, where that, is concerned, very soon!

Moving on to 2002 - it has to be said that Jess
isn't too fond of other cats but in recent months she forged a friendship with
a nearby cat called Bella: ironically before Bella's owners decided to move
house! This is a picture of them playing in a tree just outside our front door:
Then, as Bella left, along came Twiggy! She is a
black cat and she was a frequent visitor to our back garden (not sure exactly
where she lives, but we know her name from the collar). At first, Jess chased
her away but they seem to be learning to co-exist now. Pictures of Twiggy, will be added, as soon as they become available!

Cats:
A Pussycat called Sophie, who tried to
"adopt" us, until her real owner moved from our area, eleven years
ago.
This was taken through the window of a pub in Shropshire, England.
He was quite obviously, conserving his energy for the next nap!
Meet Tonic, who lived at the hotel we stayed at on
holiday in Guernsey (May 2000). He had a brother called Gin (not
surprisingly!), but as he was rather shy, we never got a picture of him! Most
unsociable of him!
