CRAIG CHARLES: BEING A STAND-IN PRESENTER AT THE BBC RADIO 2 STATION

AND A REGULAR PRESENTER AT THE BBC RADIO 6 MUSIC STATION

With regard, to Craig, being a Presenter, on The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show (which had originally, been known, as: The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Friday the 15th of March 2002, until Saturday the 17th of June 2006), at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station (The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, officially became known, as The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Saturday the 4th of November 2006, onwards!), for the best part of ten years, from Friday the 15th of March 2002, onwards. I have sorted out, a brief promotion, for him, where that, had been concerned, and it, had originally, been posted, on the Internet, during Easter 2002, for that sole purpose, anyhow!

From 2002, onwards, Craig has been hosting: The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, on the BBC's: Digital Radio Station: 6 Music (BBC), describing the content, as Funk Music, from the past Thirty years. It is a Homage to people, like Johnny 'Guitar' Watson.

During early March 2002, the Former: BBC Radio 6 Music: Breakfast Show Host: Phill Jupitus, had promoted, the launch, of the BBC Radio 6 Music Station (which had, officially launched, on Monday the 11th of March 2002), via an interview, which he had, originally conducted, with the Former: BBC Radio Two: Drivetime Presenter: Johnnie Walker.

Ash's Burn Baby Burn, had been, the record, which had originally, launched the BBC Radio 6 Music Station, via the Former: BBC Radio 6 Music: Breakfast Show Host: Phill Jupitus, on Monday the 11th of March 2002.

For anybody, who is interested, in listening, to The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, via the BBC 6 Music iPlayer, which is on, the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, on a Saturday evening, which starts broadcasting, from 6.00p.m to 9.00p.m.

Unfortunately however, The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, has been broadcasting, one day a week only, from Saturday the 4th of November 2006, onwards.

Fortunately however, from what I have gathered, there has been genuine support, from the listeners of The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, and for Craig, and his Production Team, of his Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, and they definitely, would like, the extra day, of broadcasting, restored, to the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, one day! And perhaps, one way, or another, the demand, is still, out there, where the listeners, of The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, and for Craig, and his Production Team, of his Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, are concerned, with regard, to them, getting their Friday nights, back, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, as well, as their Saturday nights, anyhow! But that said, however, there might, even be, the possibility, that the former: The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station (The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, officially became known, as The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Saturday the 4th of November 2006, onwards!), could come back, on any, other night, of the week, in a reduced Format, to the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, and I really do feel, that it would definitely, be a start, where the listeners of The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, and for Craig, and his Production Team, of his Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, are concerned, when all is said and done, anyhow!

The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show’s original broadcast time, had originally, used to be, from 6.00p.m to 9.00p.m, from Friday the 15th of March 2002, up until, Saturday the 28th of November 2009, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, (which had originally, been known, as: The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Friday the 15th of March 2002, up until, Saturday the 17th of June 2006, and The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, officially became known, as The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Saturday the 4th of November 2006, onwards!), which had changed, on Saturday the 5th of December 2009, from 6.00p.m to 9.00p.m, up until, Saturday the 31st of March 2012.

And more recently, Craig, had mentioned, on his Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, that it’s broadcast time, would change, from it’s current time, of 7.00p.m to 10.00p.m, which would, bring it back, to it’s original broadcast time, of 6.00p.m to 9.00p.m, on Saturday the 7th of April 2012.

And, the Former: Talcum Time Feature, which had originally been, presented, by Craig Charles, himself, on The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station (The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, officially became known, as The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Saturday the 4th of November 2006, onwards!), at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Friday the 15th of March, 2002, up until, Saturday the 17th of June 2006, was officially, restored, to The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, during 2009? 2010? (Do more research, into that, at a later date! Marie Birch).

And, the Former: Hammond (Organ) Time Feature, which had originally, been presented, by the Jazzy & Bluesy Hammond and Keyboards Organist, for the Band: The Fantastics! (which had, originally, been known, as Reverend Cleatus and the Soul Saviours), and the Drummer, for the Band: Captain Hammond, and the A&R/Label Boss, of Soul Bank Music, and Freestyle Records, and he also, holds, a Residency, at BBE Music, and he is, also a DJ, for Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, and he is, also a Regular Contributor, of Jocks & Nerds Magazine, at the Independent Online Soho Radio Station, and he is, also a Longtime Collaborator, for The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station: Greg Boraman, on The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station (The Craig Charles Funk Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, officially became known, as The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Saturday the 4th of November 2006, onwards!), at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, from Friday the 15th of March, 2002, up until, Saturday the 17th of June 2006, was officially, restored, to The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, on Saturday the 10th of September 2011, for once and for all!

And, more recently, Craig Charles, has mentioned, via his Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, on Saturday the 8th October 2011, that he, along with his Production Team, had got, plans to celebrate, the Official Tenth Anniversary Year of broadcasting, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, which had originally, started broadcasting, on Monday the 11th of March 2002, and Craig, had originally started, presenting his Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, on Saturday the 15th of March 2002! And therefore, I really do feel, that celebrating, the Official Tenth Anniversary Year of broadcasting, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, via The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, will definitely be, something for him, and his Production team, and for everybody concerned, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, to look forward to, from Sunday the 11th of March 2012, onwards, especially as Great Britain, will be celebrating: Her Majesty: Queen Elizabeth The II’s: Diamond Jubilee Year, and hosting, The 2012 Olympic Games, and The 2012 Paralympic Games, anyhow!

On Saturday the 10th of March 2012, The Fantasy Funk Band, returned to The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, at the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, as a Part, of the BBC 6 Music Radio Station’s Official Tenth Anniversary Celebrations.

And on, Monday the 2nd of September 2019, Craig had been joined, by his Fellow: BBC Radio 2 Broadcaster, and the Musician, and the Author: Mark Radcliffe, whose career, is far, too vast, to List here, though his main Career achievements, are Listed here. And he had started, his Radio Broadcasting Career, at Piccadilly Radio, which is now known, as: Greatest Hits Radio Manchester & The North West (1982), where he had, Hosted, a Friday Night Show, called Cures For Insomnia, and he had, also, been the Host, of Transmission, an Eclectic Show, which had played, Local, and Nationally recognised New Wave, and Post-punk Bands, as well, as European Avant-garde, and Electronic Music, and he had also, been, well-known, for Broadcasting, on the BBC Radio 1 Station, where he had Performed, Sessions, at the Maida Vale Studios, for the Late: BBC Radio 1 Presenter, and Journalist: John Peel (1983), and he had started, Presenting, the One Hour Monday Evening Show: Out on Blue Six, and the Arts Programme: The Guest List, on Thursdays, and Skyman, which had been, an odd Show, which he had, Presented, in Character, as a Visiting Alien, and all, of the Records, he had played, had been, Space-related (1993). And during, October 1993, his most Famous work, had been, a part, of the Act: Mark and Lard (with the Radio DJ, and the BBC Radio Music Station Presenter, and the Alternative Rock Critic, and the Musician, and the Former Music Businessman: Marc "The Boy Lard" Riley), in the 10.00p.m, to Midnight Slot (the Graveyard Shift), on Mondays, to Fridays, on the BBC Radio 1 Station, which had been, a Show, of unprecedented Variety, which had incorporated, Poetry Readings, from their Regular Guest, the Poet, and the Journalist, and the Playwright, and the Broadcaster: Ian McMillan, with off the wall, irreverent comedy, bizarre Quizzes: “Fish or Fowl”, and “Bird or Bloke”, and “Bard or Blake” (amongst others), and a Playlist, which had Rivalled, the Late: BBC Radio 1 Presenter, and Journalist: John Peel, in Eclecticism. And Following, the Television Presenter, and the Radio DJ, and the Producer, for Radio and Television: Chris Evans' sudden Departure, from BBC Radio 1, during early 1997, Radcliffe and Riley, had been moved, to a brief, and unsuccessful Position, on the Breakfast Show, and they, had soon, been moved, into the Early Afternoon Slot, where they, had resided, for the next Seven years. And, Radcliffe, had left, the BBC Radio 1 Station, during March 2004, and he had, moved, to the BBC Radio 2 Station, during June, of the same year, with Riley, moving to the BBC Radio 6 Music Station. And, the New Show, had been, reminiscent, of the Graveyard Slot, which he had, previously occupied, on the BBC Radio 1 Station, with Live Music, and Studio Guests. And, the respect, which Radcliffe, had garnered, as a Broadcaster, had been, cemented, when he had, scooped, a Major interview, with the Singer, and the Songwriter, and the Record Producer, and the Dancer, and the Actress: Kate Bush, during 2005, which had been, her First, in several years. For many months, prior to that, he had been running, his own 'Bush-O-Meter' on his Show, which had questioned, her possible whereabouts, and her activities. And, he had, added, a photograph, of the Day's Guest, or the 'Blessed Kate', to the Chart, until she had, appeared, on the Show.
