And, I had posted, a Good Luck Card, to Craig, to wish him, and his
Production Team, of his Funk and Soul Show, at BBC 6 Music, all the very best,
with regard, to him, and his Production Team, of his Funk and Soul Show, at BBC
6 Music, moving into, their Brand New: BBC

which is situated, at the Brand New: MediaCityUK’s

And, via my Good Luck Card, I also informed, Craig, and his Production

and Soul Show, at BBC 6 Music, with regard, to him, and his Production Team, of
his Funk and Soul Show, at BBC 6 Music, moving into, their Brand New: BBC 6 Music Radio Station Headquarters, at

14th of November 2011, onwards, will be a very good thing, indeed, with regard,
to The BBC Corporation, having to put, in a great deal, of brand new
investment, into the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, and hopefully, that will
definitely, breathe more life, into it, and bring it, more, into the Twenty
First Century! And hopefully, the BBC 6 Music Radio Station, will reach, a much
wider audience, and increase, it's listening figures,
which I really do feel, is something, that it will so desperately need, to do,
if it is, to continue, to broadcast, on the BBC Digital Radio Network, for the
foreseeable Future, when all is said and done!
And, I have also taken, a look, at the MediaCityUK
Complex Website, and I have to admit, that, the Brand New: BBC 6 Music Radio Station Headquarters, at Dock House,

indeed, and I really do feel, that it will be, a wonderful experience, for
Craig, and his Production Team, of his Funk and Soul Show, at BBC 6 Music, and
that, it will be a very good thing, with regard, to The BBC Corporation, having
to put, in a great deal, of Brand New, investment, into the BBC 6 Music Radio
Station, to breathe, more life, into it, and to bring it, more, into the Twenty
First Century, and hopefully, it will reach, a much wider audience, and
increase, it's listening figures, which I really do feel, is something, that it
will desperately need, if it is able, to continue, to broadcast, on the BBC Digital
Radio Network, when it actually comes down to it, at the end of the day,
anyhow!

And, Channel Four, has expressed, an interest, in moving, some
activities, to the MediaCityUK Complex. And,
The BBC Corporation, has stated, that either, BBC One, or BBC Two, could move,
to the MediaCityUK Studios,, by 2015, if the
confirmed moves, are successful.

FOR YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION! PLEASE READ
THIS NOTICE,
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
For those of you, who are
interested, in preventing The BBC 6 Music (The
Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, is on Saturday evenings, from 7.00p.m
to 10.00p.m) and The BBC Asian Network Radio Stations, from closing
down.
On the Petitions.fm Website,
there will be a petition to fill in and sign, which
is the most important thing to sort out, which should
hopefully, prevent the
closure, of the BBC 6 Music and the BBC Asian Network Radio
Stations, for
once and for all!
There will also be, the BBC Online Survey to fill in, which will be absolutely
crucial to fill in, because that will be presented to the
Public Consultation on
May the 25th, and hopefully,
filling in the BBC Online Survey, will hopefully,
prevent the closure of the BBC 6 Music and the BBC Asian
Network Radio
Stations, for once and for
all!
The will also be, an email correspondence, which has been set up for
everybody’s
email box, where you can compose a lengthy email
correspondence, for The BBC
Trust, which should make your
opinions heard, which should hopefully, prevent
the closure of the BBC 6 Music and the BBC Asian Network
Radio Stations, for
once and for all!
There will also be, a Website email correspondence, which has been set up, via The
Petitions.fm Website, where a
much shorter email correspondence, which has been
automatically composed, which will make the job a lot easier, (but
you can add, your
own opinions, onto it, if you so wish!), if you would
prefer, to use the easier option,
of contacting The BBC Trust, which should make your
opinions heard, which should
hopefully, prevent the closure of the BBC 6 Music and the BBC
Asian Network Radio
Stations, for once and for
all!
And the 38 Degrees Website, has also offered their support, to prevent, the
closure of
the BBC 6 Music and the BBC Asian Network Radio Stations,
for once and for all!
Thank you
Marie Birch
To all listeners of The Craig
Charles Funk and Soul Show:
Support for the return, of the Friday night: The Craig Charles Funk and
Soul Show, on BBC 6 Music.
I have heard, that there may be a possibility, that the Friday night:
Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, returning to BBC 6 Music, one day!
However, it is only a possibility, at the moment, and even though, Craig has
received a lot of emails, from his listeners, with regard to their
demands of the Friday night: Craig
Charles Funk and Soul Show, making a comeback, to BBC 6 Music, I really do
feel, that the more people,
who can email Craig, with regard to the
possibility of his Friday Funk and Soul show, making a comeback, one day, then
the more the merrier!
And Craig has stated, that he is having to cram as
much as he can, into a three hour programme, on a
Saturday night! And therefore, I really do
feel, that I have got nothing to lose, whatsoever,
where making an appeal, for the Friday night: Craig Charles Funk and Soul show,
to return to
BBC 6 Music, is concerned, anyhow! It may be
worth a try, you never know!
(And, the Coldcut information, will be
updated, as soon, as it is possible, for me, to do so! Marie Birch)
Unfortunately however, with regard, to my
finding out, any more information, about the English Dance Music Duo: Coldcut, I am afraid, that there has, been far, too much
information, and not, only that, there has, also been, far more, extensive
research, involved, for me, to sort out, where they are concerned, at this
point, in time! And, not only that, I am afraid, that there will be far, too
much, information, with regard, to the English Dance Music Duo: Coldcut, than my Profile of Eddie Piller,
can handle, at this point, in time! And therefore, the rest of my information,
with regard, to the English Dance Music Duo: Coldcut,
has recently, been copied over, and uploaded, on to, my BBC 6 Music Extra
Information Website, via my Profile of Craig Charles’ Work For BBC 6 Music!
Plus Some Very Important BBC 6 Music Information Website!
A COLDCUT: PROFILE

type of Music, but also, by Hip-hop Artists and Producers.
Online Music Retailers, sell a wide selection, of The Rare Groove Scene,
at more affordable prices, offering fast downloads, in Digital format. And,
this availability, and ease of access, has brought about, a
resurgence, of the genre, in recent years. And, collecting rare, Vinyl
Records, is an important aspect, of The Rare Groove Scene. And, The Rare Groove
Scene, began, when DJs, presented an eclectic, mix, of Music, that placed, a
particular emphasis, on Politically Articulate Dance-Funk recordings, connected
to The Black Power Movement, which is a Political slogan, and a name, for
various, associated ideologies. And, The Black Power
Movement, is used, in the movement, among people, of
Black African descent, throughout the world, though primarily, by African
Americans, in the United States of America. And, The Black Power Movement, was prominent, in the late nineteen sixties, and
early nineteen seventies, emphasizing Racial pride, and the creation, of Black
Political, and Cultural Institutions, to nurture, and promote, Black Collective
interests, and advance, Black values. And, "Black Power" expresses a
range, of Political goals, from defense, against Racial oppression, to the establishment, of Social
Institutions, and a self-sufficient economy. And, the earliest, known usage of
the term: “Black Power”, is found, in a 1954 book, by Richard Wright, an
African-American Author, of sometimes, controversial novels, short stories,
poems, and non-fiction. And, much of his literature, concerns, Racial themes, especially those, involving the plight, of
African-Americans, during the late nineteenth, to mid-twentieth centuries. And, his work, helped, to re-define,
discussions, of Race Relations, in the United States of America, in the
mid-twentieth century, titled Black
Power. Although, he did not: "Coin"
the phrase, the New York Politician and Pastor: Adam Clayton Powell Junior, who
had represented, Harlem, New York City, in the United States House of
Representatives (1945–71), had been, the first person, in New York of
African-American descent, elected to Congress, and he became, a powerful:
National Politician, who had used, the term, on Sunday the 29th of May 1966,
during a Baccalaureate Address, at Howard University: "To demand, these
God-given rights, is to seek: Black Power". And, Pirate Radio stations,
and DJs, participated, in a "Recovery, Repackaging, and Retrieval" of
obscure music, that reflected, related to, or translated, inequalities of race
and gender, and the struggles, of the Civil Rights Movement. And, Music, that
had failed, to have gained acceptance, in a previous time, was given, a brand
new: "New Lease of Life", by DJs, on Pirate Radio Stations. And, The
Rare Groove Scene, also provided, a Musical space, where the 'Symbolic
Capitol', of the music, became very important. And, the longest-running, Rare
Groove Radio show, in the United States, is "Soul Power", on WWOZ
90.7 FM (New Orleans), and wwoz.org, and it is hosted, by DJ Soul Sister (aka
"Soul Sister"), who is cited, as the "Queen of Rare
Groove". And, The Soul Power Show, originally, began, during 1996. And,
the term: “Soul Power”, was originally, coined by the British DJ: Norman Jay,
after his: "The Original Rare Groove Show" on the former: London
Pirate Radio Station: KISS FM (and, the former: London Pirate Radio Station:
KISS FM, had originally, been launched, during October 1985, and
KISS 100, had originally, been launched, as a legal Radio Station, on Saturday
the 1st of September 1990). And,
Norman Jay’s: "The Original Rare Groove Show", had been, a
collaboration, with the BBC Radio One: DJ, and Producer: Judge Jules, and it,
had featured, a mainly, Urban soundtrack, from the nineteen seventies, and
nineteen eighties, mixed in, with early: House Music.
And as
a College Student, Matt Black, had been, a Member of a Band, called: The Jazz Insects, whose first single,
was played by the late John Peel, on his BBC Radio One Show. And Matt Black, is
widely regarded, as one, of the most innovative people, in the brand new
sphere, of Audio-visual performance . And,
his legendary, Audio-visual Performance tracks,
include: "Timber" by Coldcut, and Hexstatic (who are, a Music duo, consisting of Stuart
Warren Hill (a pioneer, in Audio-visual culture, and a VJ (VJing, is a broad designation,
for Realtime Visual Performance. Characteristics of VJing,
are the creation, or manipulation of imagery, in Realtime
Visual Performance, through technological mediation, and for an audience, in
synchronization, to music. And, VJing,
often takes place, at events, such as, Concerts, Nightclubs, Music Festivals
and sometimes, in combination, with other Performative
Arts. This results, in a live Multimedia performance,
that can include Music, actors and dancers. And, the term: VJing,
became popular, in its association, with MTV's Video Jockey, but its origins,
date back, to the New York Club scene, of the nineteen seventies. In both
situations, VJing is the manipulation, or selection
of Visuals, in the same way, that DJing, is a selection and manipulation, of audio). And, Stuart,
has also set up, an intensely, impressive 3D Solo project: Holotronica),
and Robin Brunson (the very well-known, and well-respected: Artist and Pioneer,
of Audio Visual-music), that specializes, in creating, "Quirky
Audio-visual Electro”, as well, as early involvement, in the Classic Rave: VJ
series: Xmix. And, Matt Black, is also one, of the inventors, of the VJamm Software, used in the Coldcut
Live Show. And, Matt Black, is also a founding member, of the (now defunct) VJ
Group: Hex or Hex Media (which had originally, been formed, during the early
nineteen nineties, and had disbanded, during the late nineteen nineties, and
Hex or Media, were, to eventually, become: Hexstatic,
during 1997), and of the VJ group: The
VJamm Allstars (who had
originally, been formed, during the Millennium), with whom, he continues,
to perform shows, to this very day. And, Matt Black, has also worked,
alongside: Crass Agenda (Last Amendment, had been, formerly known, as: The Crass Collective. And, Crass Agenda, had been, the original working
title, of a series, of collaborations, by ex-members, of the Anarchist Punk
Band: Crass, and others. And, Crass, formally split up, during 1984), as part,
of the Savage Utopia (a Record Album)
project. And, Jonathon More, also DJed, on Pirate
radio, hosting The Meltdown Show,
on Kiss FM, (and, the former: London Pirate Radio Station: KISS FM, had
originally, been launched, during October 1985, and KISS 100,
had originally, been launched, as a legal Radio Station, on Saturday the 1st of
September 1990), and he had also worked, at the Reckless Records Store
(from June 2007, until July 2010: the Reckless Records Store, had been, known,
as: the Revival Records Store), on Berwick Street, Greater London, which Black,
had visited as a customer, and where, they had obviously, first made, one
another’s acquaintance. And, Matt Black, had also created, a mixtape, for a Capital Radio Mix competition. And, Matt
Black, had played, the mixtape, to Jonathon More, who
had suggested, a separate edit, be made, of part of the mix. And, Matt Black,
had also mixed, the Jungle Book's "King of the Swingers" with the
break, from James Brown's Funk song: "Funky Drummer", and the
recording's, Drum break, performed, by Drummer Clyde Stubblefield, is one, of the
most frequently, sampled Rhythmic breaks, in Hip hop, and Popular Music.
Indeed, it lays a strong claim, to being, the most sampled, recording, ever, along, with the Amen Break, which is a brief: Drum solo,
performed in 1969, by Gregory Cylvester "G.
C." Coleman, in the song: "Amen, Brother", performed by the
1960’s Funk and Soul outfit: The Winstons, who were a
1960’s Funk and Soul Music group, based in Washington, DC, and they are best
known, for their 1969 recording, of an EP, featuring a song, entitled
"Colour Him Father", which was released, on the A-side, and a song,
entitled "Amen, Brother", on the B-side. Half-way, into "Amen,
Brother", there is a Drum solo (performed by G.C. Coleman), which would
cause, The Winston's EP, to become, one of the most, widely-sampled records, in
the history, of Electronic Music. Sampled audio clips, of the drum solo, became
known as the Amen Break, which has been used, in thousands of tracks, in a
large number, of musical genres, including: Hip-hop, Drum and Bass, Jungle, Big
beat, Industrial, Electronica, and Pop Music. And,
the full song, is an up-tempo, instrumental rendition,
of Jester Hairston's: "Amen," (Jester Hairston, was an: American
Composer, and Songwriter, and Arranger, and Choral Conductor, and actor. His
notable compositions, include: "Amen," a Gospel-tinged theme, from
the film: Lilies of the Field,
and a 1963 hit, for the American Music Group, from Chicago: The Impressions,
who had originally, formed, in 1958, and their repertoire, includes: Doo-wop,
Gospel, Soul, and R&B, and the Christmas song: "Mary's Boy
Child", which is also widely, performed, as a Christmas Carol), which he
originally, composed, for the Sidney Poitier film: Lilies of the Field (1963) and which, was subsequently,
popularized, by The Impressions, in 1964. And, The Winstons'
version, was released, as a B-side, of the 45 RPM 7”
Vinyl Single: "Color Him Father". And,
this, had been, the start of a collaboration, that had been, the release, of Coldcut’s debut: 12” Vinyl Single: "Say Kids What Time
Is It?", on the White Record Label: Ahead of Our
Time Records, with only five hundred copies, pressed for sale, during January

the White Record Label: Ahead of Our Time Records, with only, five hundred

first tracks, to be built, entirely around, Music sampling. But that said,
however, as Coldcut’s debut: 12” Vinyl Single:
"Say Kids What Time Is It?", which had originally, been released, on
the White Record Label: Ahead of Our Time Records, with only, five hundred
